2014 in review

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2014 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

A San Francisco cable car holds 60 people. This blog was viewed about 230 times in 2014. If it were a cable car, it would take about 4 trips to carry that many people.

  1. It has been another difficult year on our homestead . I had another health set back which causes financial set backs , which adds to the stress of the health set back . You get the idea . For me the worst of it is how it affects my family , and it does . I have lost two friends , one of which was my “forever friend” drake (see the blog photos) . He will forever be in my heart and memories. We have all had our personal difficulties here and worrying about eachother compounds our difficulties. But, as the year has progressed we have witnessed so many of our friends , family and associates experience the
WORST of times . The news from around the world seems more horrendous than ever , and it leaves me wondering where I get the right to complain ! Working the farmstead is rewarding to me in many ways , and very enjoyable . Writing about it is not only cathartic but helps me organize my thoughts , progress ,failures and sucesses . It allows me to create a ‘ timeline’ as well . Having visitors to share it with makes it even better . I’d like to thank everyone who took the time to come out to the farmstead via this blog . I hope you got as much from it as I did.
Let’s hope for a kinder , gentler 2015 . Be kind to the earth and each other ; every little bit helps .
